George Lakomy

George Lakomy was appointed Executive Director of Manufacturing Management in March 2026. Mr. Lakomy brings more than 25 years of experience in the medical device and life sciences industries. Since joining Anika in 2002, he has held roles of increasing responsibility spanning engineering, operations, and large scale manufacturing leadership.

With deep expertise in hyaluronic acid technology, Mr. Lakomy has led transformative initiatives in highly regulated environments that optimize production systems, advance technical and operational excellence, and enhance product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle through a strategic and disciplined approach.

Mr. Lakomy holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
