Lisa Funiciello

Lisa Funiciello was appointed Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer in April 2025 and has been with Anika since February 2022. Her responsibilities include companywide leadership of the Human Resources function and oversight of the Information Technology function. Ms. Funiciello brings extensive global Human Resources leadership experience, having held senior roles at Fresenius Medical Care, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Shire Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Anika, she served as Vice President of Human Resources at Fresenius Medical Care, where she supported the Global Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain organization.

Ms. Funiciello’s expertise includes organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, change management, HR operating model transformation, HRIS implementation, employee development, and enterprise technology governance in support of business strategy execution. Ms. Funiciello holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
